ABOUT

QCC is an emerging research and creative praxis program, founded and directed by Dr. Michael Rhoades, pioneering the direct transduction of quantum hardware execution into quantum computer music and time-based spatial visualization. Developed through a three-way creative symbiosis between human artistic vision, AI collaboration, and quantum physical systems, this work positions the quantum computer not as a calculator but as a generative artistic instrument — one whose interference patterns, entanglement topologies, and hardware signatures become the raw material of composition and visual art. Crucially, the creative material produced by this methodology is physically impossible to replicate through classical computing — the decoherence, gate errors, and entanglement-specific quantum signatures embedded in the output are authentic products of real quantum hardware execution, unavailable by any other means.
The research documented here represents the foundational phases of what may become a broader collaborative research group, inviting composers, visual artists, computer scientists, and quantum physicists to explore this emerging territory together.
